The mind boggles at what you can buy nowadays, from a harness to take your chicken for a walk (yes, you read that right) to bandaids in the shape of bacon. These are extremely far-fetched examples and granted a lot of the weird and wonderful items are meant to be novelty items.
In the world of camping and glamping, the sky is quite literally the limit in terms of what you can buy and spend summer evenings and nights relaxing in.
Is it a log cabin? Is it a tent? Well, it’s a bit of both. In fact, we think Log Cabin Tents are the best of both worlds. If you want the feel of a log cabin without being tied down (pun intended) to a permanent cabin then read on and see what we have to say about Log Cabin Tents!
1. Elsa Wallis Log Cabin Tent
This is the realization of those who dream of having a tent designed to look like a cabin. This 8 person Log Cabin Tent has a lovely rustic feel. We love the front porch feature, making you feel like you’re at home when you’re camping!
The addition of windows sewn into the walls of the tent also give that log cabin look and feel.
2. Lounge Tent by Glamping Alabama
Whilst the Lounge Tent by Glamping Alabama doesn’t look exactly like a log cabin tent, we think it’s worthy of being on this list.
The teepee aesthetic is something we’re very much here for. This tent really opens up and has enough space for a double bed plus all the trimmings.
3. Cabela’s Outfitter Wall Tents by Montana Canvas
The third entry on our list is the Cabela’s Outfitter Wall Tent. This tent looks and feels like a cross between a rugged hunter’s tent and tents used by the military. We loved the addition of a vent if you want a stove inside your tent.
4. West Elm’s NorCal Tent
We absolutely adored this one – and for good reason! It blends all the aesthetics of a rugged hunter’s tent but feels like a proper glamping tent. It sits on a wooden plinth to give the tent a firm base to sit on.
Plus there is enough room inside the tent for a double bed whilst also being cozy.
5. Northwest Territory Front Porch Cabin Tent
The Northwest Territory Front Porch Cabin Tent feels more like a portable house than a tent. With a massive screened-in front porch it’s sure to keep the bugs out. It sleeps 10 people comfortably and has an Everdry coating to keep everyone dry.
6. Luxury Safari Tent
Whilst not all of us are lucky enough to experience a wild safari – you can now look and feel like you’re in the outback with this tent! Lying under the stars is appealing enough – now you can do it in style!
7. Star Bell Tent
Whilst strictly not a Log Cabin Tent, we absolutely love the Star Bell Tent and thought it was a worthy inclusion on this list. A perfect glamping experience, with enough room for you and your loved one(s).
8. Igloo 8-Man Log Cabin Tent
Much like our first entry on this list, the Igloo 8-Man Log Cabin tent is designed to have the look of a log cabin without the permanent fixture. It might look a bit on the smaller side, but this tent really opens up once you get inside.
9. Denver Canvas Tent
The Denver Canvas Tent looks and feels like a classic tent. It has all of the charms of simple country living and is just as practical as you would expect. With a muted light cream color scheme and sewn-in windows, it’s a cosy tent that you can spend nights sleeping in under the stars.
10. Campfire Tent
This tent is modelled after the ridgeline style of tent, yet it’s made even more simple by being made out of canvas.
Whilst it looks a little out of place on this list, as most of the other entries are on the glamorous side, we thought it was a worthy inclusion and an ode to the simple things in camping life.
11. Luxury Camping Tent
Living in luxury doesn’t just have to be reserved for your home address – and this tent is proof of this! Being able to take nearly all of our home comforts with us meant we had to include this one on the list.
12. Dick’s Camping Tent
For those of us who prefer a more rugged camping experience, Dick’s Camping Tents are a must-own!
We found the design of this tent to be a perfect blend of modernity and old-school, with its sewn-in windows and low profile beige and brown color scheme.
13. White Duck Outdoor Canvas Tent
Much like a few other entries on this list, the White Duck Outdoor Canvas Tent is on the heavy duty side of camping tents.
This being said, these sorts of tents are just as much at home in Backcountry Wilderness as they are at Music Festivals. We love the versatility and every-man feel of this one!
14. Ozark Trail Wall Tent

The Ozark Trail Wall Tent is an absolute beauty of a tent! No unnecessary parts or flamboyant angles on this one – its clean and precise design is a sight to behold.
We found the sewn-in windows on this canvas tent to be a nice addition. The Ozark Trail Wall Tent is also deceptively big on the inside.
15. Luxury Glamping Tent
It’s worth reiterating that luxury doesn’t need to stay at home, and if you weren’t convinced with our previous entry, we hope the Luxury Glamping Tent can change your mind!
We loved the over-extended roof, especially since this tent has a sizable front porch area.
16. StarDust Homes
We admit that this entry flips the script on the title of this article – however, we think that it’s amazing and had to include it on this list!
StarDust Homes is the exact reverse of a Log Cabin Tent, in that it’s a beautiful tent with log cabin walls built around it. It’s incredibly cosy and warm, even without a campfire!
17. Brown Big Horn 5 Person Tent
Brown Big Horn 5 Person Tent, to some, might not look like much, but we loved it for its muted appearance!
This one very much fits the aesthetic of the classic log cabin tent vibe, with a rustic brown and dark grey color scheme. But hey, sometimes less is indeed more!
18. Tahoe Gear Ozark Family Camping Tent
As the name suggests, the Tahoe Gear Ozark Tent is one for families. With a very spacious interior to fit you and the kids comfortably.
We loved the toned-down color scheme with dark browns and beige. It feels a bit like a home away from home with the large sewn-on windows. They’re also great at keeping insects out!
19. Hercules Winter Tent
Much like the namesake of this tent, it really can withstand the harshness of winter (although maybe not the Twelve Labours of Hercules).
Designed for use in cold climates, the Hercules Winter Tent has everything you need to thrive in winter temperatures, including a stove vent. This tent is far more of a rugged, harsh wilderness type than glamping in a forest.
20. Tented Villa by Escapenomade
The Tented Villa by Escapenomade is absolutely stunning, and we’re sure you’d agree. Perfect for those winter wonderland-style glamping trips.
With a covered porch area to enjoy those cold evenings with a cup of hot cocoa. There’s also a swinging chair to rock gently in whilst savoring the quietness of winter.
Conclusion
Whilst not all of the entries on this list can strictly be classified as Log Cabin Tents, we think that they are all pretty amazing and unique! They all have their own individual style, even though most of them are multi-purpose and look like they belong in any setting.
Whether you’re planning on going glamping or mucking it out in the wilderness, we hope that this list has given you some food for thought and inspiration on all things Log Cabin Tent.
